Very exciting news! Rebirth Music’s Arun Venkatesh has been asked to compose the new music package for Geraldo Rivera’s show on Fox News Channel. We couldn’t be more pleased to continue our relationship with this fine new client! Many thanks to Music Supervisor Danton Mayorga.

This past week saw Arun mixing SyFy promos for the show “Lost Girl” and the Will Farrell classic “Elf”.

Thanks again to producers Mary Traina and Rich Rosario for being amazing to work with! I should be posting these soon.

In other news, Rebirth Music is happy to announce another new client: Fox News Channel! Arun just finished composing a series of network IDs for them. They’re great folks to work with.

We’re happy to introduce our new client “The Gill Agency”. (http://thegillagency.com) Buying a house in the Austin area? Look no further than Eileen Gill…she’s the bomb.

Part of what makes the Gill Agency special is that they do really beautiful videos (directed by Kevin Pruitt) for some of the houses they are representing. Arun recently composed some music for one of these videos-I’ll post it soon, and you can check the link below. Even cooler, it’s a house owned and interior-designed by Roger Hazard and Chris Stout (http://www.designhazards.com) from A&E’s “Sell This House”.

Fun project!

We’ve worked on a couple great projects this past week here at Rebirth.

The first was a series of promos for the new SyFy orginal movie, “The Terror Beneath”…killer plants anyone?
The spot was produced by the always wonderful Mary Traina, with sound design and mix by Arun Venkatesh…clip’s up!

Additionally, Arun did the music score as well as audio post for an 8 minute video promo for the Austin Theological Seminary, produced by the amazing Kevin Pruitt. You can check out his work at http://kevinpruitt.com, and check back here for a clip soon!

Rebirth Music recently added up the iZotope RX2 suite of audio restoration tools to our arsenal and they totally rock!
Noisy dialogue? Hum? Background noises? Pops and clicks? Gone… Dust…
….and quickly. We’re impressed.

This weekend Rebirth teamed up with the Dallas, TX-based Defacto Sound to do the sound design and mix on 5 spots entitled “My Mexico”. I hope to post a sample soon. It was an honor to finally get to worked with Dallas Taylor, the head honcho at Defacto. He’s an unbelievable talent and a great guy.

After working on these clips, I think I need to take a vacation in Oaxaca, Mexico… It looks fantastic.

Another great session for SyFy this past Friday! I had the pleasure of working again with the uber-talented Mary Traina- sound design and mix on 3 promos for Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome and Apollo 18. The SyFy sessions are always a blast! Check back for video clips.
