Our Founder

Arun VenkateshArun Venkatesh began his career over 20 years ago as guitarist and co-writer for the Boston-based alt-metal outfit, El Dopa. After a move to New york City, he became senior engineer and producer at the now-legendary Big Blue Meenie Studios, where he recorded, produced and mixed nearly 200 records, with over 2.5 million in sales and earning him a platinum record.

From there, he immersed himself in the world of broadcast tv, as Music Supervisor and Sound Designer for Fox Business Network, where he musically & sonically branded the network from its launch.

While in NYC, he also began composing and playing on advertising spots for national and international brands. Throughout this journey, Arun has consistently proven himself as an effective and inventive writer, producer and post-production professional.

Arun created Rebirth Music + Post as a place to unite his experience with a spirit of collaboration, professionalism, storytelling and experimentation – and a life-long passion for all things music & sound. Now living in Austin, TX, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, collecting and experimenting with sounds, going to shows, getting lost in the woods and finding his way back. He still loves listening to, talking about and making music. More than ever.
